科研基地：高原气象专题学术讲座

题目：美国朱诺机场测风系统(JAWS)的风传感器及位置选择介绍

主讲人：Robert Keith Barron（美国）。Deputy Director for Engineering  Aviation Applications Program，National Center for Atmospheric Research。Mr. Barron got his degree in mathematics and computer science from the University of Colorado. He has worked at NCAR since 1978 and now serves as the Deputy Director for Engineering at the Aviation Applications Program. He has worked on a variety of projects at NCAR including the Low Level Windshear Alert System (LLWAS) Project, the Terminal Doppler Weather Radar (TDWR) Project, the Terminal Area Surveillance System (TASS) Project, the Aviation Digital Data System (ADDS) Project, the NextGen Network Enabled Weather (NNEW) Project, and the Juneau Airport Winds System (JAWS) Project. Mr. Barron has participated in eteorological data collection field projects in North Carolina, Alabama, Kansas, Colorado, California, and Alaska using radars, aircraft, anemometers, lidars, and wind profilers, which have investigated a broad range of phenomena such as convective storms,winter storms, microbursts, and terrain induced windshear and turbulence.

主讲人：邹捍，研究员，中国科学院大气环境与极地研究部副主任，男，1959年12月12日生于北京。1983年毕业于中国科技大学地球和空间科学系，1993年获得挪威卑尔根大学理学博士学位。1990-1994年在挪威卑尔根大学地球物理研究所工作，1995年回国工作。现在为美国地理学会、美国AAS学会、中国科学探险协会会员。曾从事大气动力学、降水预报、大气水分平衡、山地气象学等研究。现从事大气环境动力学研究，曾参加国家与国际南极、北极、珠峰等地区科学考察。
